Background & Selected Experience

Andrew M. Levad serves as both a Senior Tutoring Specialist and Classroom Instructor for Frontier Tutoring. In addition to providing tutoring in a wide range of subjects to high school, university, and professional students, Andrew oversees the instruction of mathematics, Spanish, and Japanese courses as part of the Frontier Tutoring Classroom Tutorials Program.

Andrew earned double bachelors’ degrees in Mathematics and Japanese Language, with minors in Chinese language and East Asian studies from the University of Oregon. During his undergraduate program, he completed a series of study-abroad programs to earn fluency certifications in Japanese and Spanish from Senshu University in Tokyo, Japan, and Enforex Language Academy in Salamanca, Spain. After graduation, Andrew moved to Taipei, Taiwan to complete a fluency certification course in Mandarin Chinese at National Taiwan University. Since graduating and moving back to the United States, he has enjoyed sharing his knowledge in a variety of instructional roles for Frontier Tutoring.

Andrew has also been admitted to the JD program at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he will begin studies in fall 2013.

In addition to his responsibilities at Frontier Tutoring, Andrew is also an accomplished ballet dancer and currently dances for Momentum Dance Company in Anchorage.
