Good For

Multiple students taking the same class, studying the same concepts

Two students, both of whom are enrolled in Algebra II and are receiving tutoring for the same concepts

Students who would benefit from the full attention of their Tutoring Specialist for the entire session

Multiple students taking the same class, studying different concepts

Two students, both of whom are enrolled in Algebra II, but in different sections or with differing subject matter strengths and weaknesses

Students who have the ability to work independently for part of the session (e.g., to complete a practice problem while the Tutoring Specialist works with another student on a different concept)

Multiple students taking different classes of the same subject category

Two math students, one taking pre-calculus and one taking Algebra I

Students who have the ability to work independently for part of the session (e.g., to complete a practice problem while the Tutoring Specialist works with another student on a different concept)

We do not provide group tutoring to students enrolled in classes of varying subject category (e.g., a math student and an English student in the same session).

Group Tutoring Rates

Note: For any given session, the rate assessed will be based on the number of students who attended the session, even if the regular group size is larger (e.g., if the third member of a 3-student group does not attend a session, the two attending students will each be assessed the 2-student rate).
