Background & Selected Experience

Lauren is currently working to complete her degree in Chemistry and Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska Anchorage. During her time at UAA, Lauren led an undergraduate inorganic chemistry research project that is currently being submitted for publishing. Additionally, she does journalism for The Northern Light and Alaska Sea Grant. 

Lauren has always been passionate about learning but it hasn't always come easily. She is passionate about helping others who also struggle in school learn the skills and mechanisms to make learning enjoyable!

Outside of the classroom, Lauren is an avid runner who enjoys hiking and travelling. She has traveled to Spain, Portugal, England, Hungary, and Morocco, and is looking forward to traveling more in the future.
