Background & Selected Experience

 Ryan completed his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Tennessee in 2013 and subsequently received a Ph.D in Condensed Matter Physics, studying crystal growth and orientation, also at the University of Tennessee in 2018. His passion for teaching began during the two years he spent working in the Physics Tutorial Center during college. From there, he began teaching in graduate school as a teacher's aide.

Ryan enjoys helping students of all ages better understand math and science in order to prepare them for all aspects of their futures. Ryan is looking forward to expanding his career as a Tutoring Specialist. In his free time, Ryan enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with his wife and daughter, whom he raises full-time.
